“I personally believe in the importance of having an insurance advisor with whom I can discuss various risk management alternatives, deductibles, coverage, exposures, gaps in coverage, etc. I also believe there are advantages to having an agent available during the claim process. One may be able to save a few bucks dealing directly with the insurance carrier, but one loses the intangibles provided by an insurance advisor.”
